ACCELERATOR ZMBT

ZMBT is a Semi ultra Thiazole Accelerator. It has accelerator properties intermediate between those of MBT and

MBTS, being less scorchy than MBTS and also intermediate in state of cure. The vulcanisate properties are

closely similar to those of MBT. ZMBT is specially recommended for latex compounds with ZDC to give high

modulus rubbers. A similar combination produces latex foams with a high compression modulus. Typical dosage

varies from 0.5 – 1.5 phr.

Storage and Handling

Stable indefinitely under normal conditions of storage. No special handling precautions are necessary. Normal

precautions to avoid contact with skin and eyes should be followed. For eyes, flush with plenty of water and

seek medical advice.
